Friends are welcomed

Why are Woman so Strange and Men so Weird?

St. Edward's Church

9401 Nesbitt Avenue South

Bloomington

Is this the perfect topic or what??? Someone once said, “Life is relationships”, and it’s true. People who have achieved success in life are those who have developed effective relationship skills.

Communication is the skill that makes relationships work, yet sometimes communicating with the opposite sex can be a frustrating experience. We may not always realize it, but men and women speak a different language. They also make decisions differently, and think about problems from different directions. The differences between men and women go far beyond the obvious. Because we may not understand these differences, we can experience communication misfires and get mired in conflict. “Why are Women so Strange and Men so Weird” presents these key differences, along with strategies for men and women to enhance their relationships.

Join other SVTC members and the 20's and 30's community of St. Edward's Church while Karl Mulle, M.Div., M.A.C.P, presents how to communicate effectively with the opposite gender. Karl is a great speaker and we are sure that you will learn a thing or two and definitely laugh!

We thank St. Ed's for picking up the tab and also providing us with space. SVTC will provide the refreshments so if you can bring a goodie or something to drink, please email Nancy at svnancy@aol.com. We ask that everyone bring a food item to donate to a local food shelf as the price of admission, preferably a boxed dessert item (bars, brownies, etc) to support VEAP's Thanksgiving Dinner "Build a Bag" Program.

Please RSVP to Wendy at laxie@minn.net
