SVTC policy specifies that the following conditions must be met:
 Organizations
that are eligible are government certified nonprofit organizations that
are not political, fraternal, or religious institutions, nor private
foundations. Some religious organizations may be eligible for
non-sectarian programs.
SVTC will not provide volunteers for government agencies, and business or industry associations.
SVTC will not provide volunteers for an event that requires a training meeting at a separate time.
SVTC volunteers can not serve alcohol at an event.
Organizations must provide a copy of their IRS 501(c) (3) determination letter.
Single Volunteers of Twin Cities does not discriminate against any
person on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin,
disability, veteran status, or age.
In addition, we would ask the following:
Can you provide 4-8 weeks notice?
Does your project require at least
8 volunteers?
Is your project acceptable for both men and women?
Will volunteer participants be able to interact while participating in the project?
Is the event located in the Twin Cities area?
Is this a short term or one time project?
Does your organization have liability insurance that covers SVTC volunteers?

Start/stop time of event (our preference is to keep the shifts to a
maximum of 5 hours - exceptions are made on a case by case basis)
