How Can
My Organization Request Volunteers from SVTC?

In order for
us to
provide you with volunteers, your organization must satisfy the following requirements:
Provide 4-8 weeks notice.
Be a non-profit or not for profit organization.
Accept a team of at least
8 volunteers of mixed gender for a project. Larger projects are
appreciated, but we need a minimum of 8 volunteers on a project.
Provide
projects that allow our volunteers to interact with each other while they're
participating.
Short term or one
time projects are more suitable.

To request
volunteers from SVTC, please contact us by filling out and submitting the
request
for volunteers form.

What do organizations say
about us?
SPECIAL OLYMPICS OF MINNESOTA
"I just wanted to relay what a great job SVTC did at our tournament this past weekend. I received a fax yesterday from Rex Harris, the competition director for table tennis, and he noted, "Please be sure to let Tiffany from the Singles Group know that I really appreciate the great effort that they made. It was by far the best volunteer group I have seen since the 1991 International Games.
.... I hope we have the opportunity to work with you group again. Thanks so much..."
CAMP HEARTLAND/DIFFA Dog Day Event
"We appreciate the tremendous amount of work that went into making the
event such a success.... Please know that your help makes a big difference in the lives of children impacted by HIV/AIDS!"
Fraser Community Services
(Fraser was contacted for their opinion on SVTC for an article by
office.com. Here are some excerpts of what Fraser had to say):
"From our initial experience with SVTC, the volunteers were very dependable, friendly, and organized."
"I would recommend them without hesitation! They are experienced, committed, organized and seem to truly enjoy what they do. Their
leaders make it easy to schedule their members for your activity, and she does the contacting of members for
me. They are a very professional group of volunteers."
