What are the membership requirements?

The requirements to join SVTC are:

You must be 21 years of age or older.

You must be single (not married).

If you agree to participate in a project, you must arrive at the project site on time with the necessary tools, (which your project leader will explain).  Also, you must stay until the completion of the project.

How do I find out about (and sign up for) upcoming projects and events?

The best way to keep informed is to check our Meetup.com home page regularly and to subscribe to our e-mail newsletter.

After you've become a member, you can sign up to participate in projects and events at the events page.

How do I join SVTC?

If you meet all the membership requirements and affirm that you have read and understand the volunteer agreement in its entirety, and fill out the information form to join our team!

Are there any meetings?

We do have fun networking meetings for members to ask and get answers about SVTC, meet other members and share ideas.

What other things does SVTC do?

As the calendar allows (the occasional open dates) SVTC hosts periodic member gatherings to socialize and celebrate with the SVTC membership. There are a few annual events for membership recognition and relaxation including a family picnic, annual membership meeting and holiday celebration.

Single Volunteers of the Twin Cities (SVTC) is a group of busy and energetic Twin Cities' singles who enjoy making a difference for our communities and meeting new single friends. 

SVTC provides Minnesota non-profit organizations in the Twin Cities Metro Area with volunteer teams to help meet manpower needs and goals while giving SVTC members a convenient, fun and efficient way in giving philanthropic support while networking with other singles

SVTC is not a dating or matchmaking service.

What does it cost to join SVTC?

SVTC membership is free.

What about leader positions in SVTC?

We offer different project leadership and committee opportunities  to those who are interested.  Members are not required to be leaders or committee members.
