EFN is a resource center for its members who are food shelves and food programs around the Twin Cities. The Emergency Food Shelf Network is having a food drive with the MN WILD hockey team before their game. Spectators are asked to bring in food or cash donations and in return they will receive a ticket for a prize drawing.

15 - 18 volunteers will be at the entrances receiving the donations. The game starts at 7pm. We'll continue collecting donations through the first period, then we can go in and watch the game. We will be given passes, but at this point, cannot be guaranteed a seat since many of the games are sold out. There are places to stand to watch the game.

EFN & MN Wild are requesting that volunteers wear EFN T-shirts on event night, this helps the volunteers stand out and helps with credibility. T-shirts with be provided when we arrive. Since volunteers will be positioned at all of the entrances (inside) it can get cold, feel free to wear a long shirt under the T-shirt. We really need lots of enthusiasm and energy from everyone, which means working and asking the crowds for donations on a Saturday night.

Come filled with holiday cheer. Refreshments (including lunch) will be provided.

Shift #1  8 volunteers needed to assist parents “shop” for gifts.
